Abstract

The invention relates to an in-ear hearing aid whose shell (65) is rubber-elastic. This enables the shell to be changed modularly without changing the electronics module on which it is mounted.

Claims (22)

1. An otoplasty with at least two discrete function modules which are enclosed by an exchangeable shell, characterized in that the shell has at least one rubber-elastic portion, and therein an insertion/removal opening for at least one of the function modules.
2. The otoplasty as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the shell is made of rubber-elastic material.
3. The otoplasty as claimed in either of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the shell engages around the module at least partially and at least with a form-fit.
4. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 1 through 3, characterized in that the rubber-elastic portion engages around the module at least partially and at least with a form-fit.
5. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 1 through 4, characterized in that the greatest diameter of the surface of the opening on the rubber-elastic portion is smaller than the greatest diameter extent of the module, viewed in a plane perpendicular to a direction of insertion of the module into the shell.
6. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 1 through 5, characterized in that the module consists of at least two subsidiary modules.
7. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 1 through 6, characterized in that the module comprises at least one battery and one electronic module.
8. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 1 through 7, characterized in that the otoplasty is an in-the-ear hearing device or a hearing device worn outside the ear.
9. The in-the-ear otoplasty as set forth in the preamble of claim 1, characterized in that its shell consists of at least two parts which can be detached from one another.
10. The otoplasty as claimed in claim 9, characterized in that the two parts can be separated only by destroying at least one of the parts.
11. The otoplasty as claimed in either of claims 1 and 10, characterized in that the parts can be separated from one another without being destroyed.
12. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 9 through 11, characterized in that the shell engages around the module at least partially and at least with a form-fit.
13. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 9 through 12, characterized in that the module consists of at least two subsidiary modules.
14. The otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 9 through 13, characterized in that the module comprises at least one battery and one electronic module.
15. A method for adapting otoplasties with integrated module to changing requirements in terms of its external shape, characterized in that at least part of the otoplasty shell is changed.
16. The method as claimed in claim 15, characterized in that the entire otoplasty shell is changed.
17. The method as claimed in either of claims 15 and 16, characterized in that the otoplasty shell is pushed over the module like a rubber-elastic stocking.
18. The method as claimed in either of claims 16 and 17 for in-the-ear otoplasties, characterized in that the otoplasty shell is designed in at least two parts, and the parts are separated in order to remove the module, at least one of them is exchanged and shell parts are re-assembled with the module.
19. The method as claimed in claim 18, characterized in that at least one of the parts is destroyed upon separation.
20. Use of the method as claimed in one of claims 15 through 19 for hearing devices.
21. Use of the method as claimed in one of claims 15 through 19 for in-the-ear otoplasties when changes occur in the auditory canal.
22. Use of the otoplasty as claimed in one of claims 1 through 14 or of the method as claimed in one of claims 15 through 19 for sterilization of otoplasties and/or for application of medicines to the application area.
