Abstract

Selon cette invention, il est possible de former un commutateur optique intégrant une technologie de systèmes microélectromécaniques et des fibres optiques coniques, lenticulaires, inférieur à 0,5 dB, soit à l'état de croisement, soit à l'état réfléchi. Une perte d'insertion a lieu au niveau le plus faible de 0,1 dB environ dans un commutateur 2x2 en configuration croisée lorsque des revêtements antiréfléchissants sont inclus dans les extrémités coniques lenticulaires des fibres. Selon une réalisation spécifique, on utilise un commutateur bistable intégrant des systèmes microélectromécaniques avec un actionneur de commande de peigne électrostatique.
