Abstract
This device's general purpose is to seal screw-top bottles of any material, in order to keep the carbonation of a liquid to a maximum. While the proper working ability of the device is solely dependent on the pressure within the sealed bottle, the device can be depressed to allow the forces of the pressure built-up by the carbon dioxide within the liquid tube, which extends down to the bottom of the bottle.
When the device is depressed, the pressure within the bottle pushes the liquid up the tube and out of the spout.
When the device is depressed, the pressure within the bottle pushes the liquid up the tube and out of the spout.
Description
St9eClffCation.°
Thus invention relates to a manually operable tool for dispensing Iiqu.id from bottles of carbonated beverages.
There are other known devices which sole purpose is to seal in the carbonation in the bottles of carbonated beverages, baxt none of them which also serve the functionality of the liquid dispenser.
~lith the unique design of this device, one is able to seal the carbonatfion within the liquid by tightly screwing the device onto the top of carbonated bottle, while at the same tune, be used to dispense the liquid. The tightly sealed bottle needs only to ibe shaken lightly to activate the carbon dioxide within the bottle, causing a pressure to build up within the bottle. ~lpon releasing the lever on the device, the seal is opened and the pressure within the bottle is released slowly, while pushing the liquid up through the tube and out of the spout.
The device illustrates comprises a trabe #1) which is inserted into the opening so any screw - top bottle. The device is attached to the bottle securely 'via the screw- top portion of the device #2) the seal of the pressure within the battle is kept by the seal contact of the "plunger" #3) and the "seal flange area" #4) Upon depressing the pump lever #5), the Iiquid is pushed up tube #1) because the seal between the 'plunger" #3) and the "seal flange area #4) is broken, and the pressure within the bottle is allowed to push up and cwt of the spout #6.
