Abstract

Cette invention concerne un compteur de temps destiné à être porté par des pilotes d'aéronefs qui les renseignent sur de nombreux événements séquentiels, de manière sure, par l'intermédiaires de multiples dispositifs d'alarme visuels (29-32), sonores (36), et tactiles (37). Le six chronomètres de vol (61-65), auxquels on accède par les boutons (1-4), permettent au pilote d'utiliser des caractéristiques complètes programmables afin de satisfaire aux exigences d'un vol donné. Ce système de surveillance donne également immédiatement accès à l'heure Zulu et aux quarante deux zones de temps autour du monde. Ce chronomètre permet au pilote de mieux déterminer le temps de fonctionnement moteur, le temps en circuit d'attente, le moment de transfert de carburant, le positionnement d'approche finale par rapport au point d'interruption d'approche, le compte à rebours pour minimum IFR, le temps jusqu'à position, les virages standard et le moment de clôture le plan de vol.
