Abstract

Un procédé de vérification d'identité qui consiste à enregistrer des coordonnées d'une signature de référence qui comprennent des coordonnées d'espace bidimensionnel x et y employées par l'instrument d'écriture d'un rédacteur sur un support d'enregistrement. Le procédé mesure et enregistre un indice, qui identifie un attribut biométrique de référence dans la signature de référence ayant une caractéristique sélectionnée. Ensuite, l'attribut biométrique de référence et l'indice sont placés sur un substrat lisible, portable. Les coordonnées d'une signature inconnue qui comprennent des coordonnées d'espace bidimensionnel x et y recouvertes par l'instrument d'écriture d'un rédacteur sont également enregistrées. Le procédé consiste en outre à lire et à stocker l'indice et l'attribut biométrique de référence dans une mémoire et à utiliser l'indice pour situer un attribut biométrique extrait dans la signature inconnue. L'attribut biométrique extrait est comparé à l'attribut biométrique de référence pour déterminer s'ils correspondent ou non vis-à-vis de critères de seuil prédéterminés. La lecture et le stockage de l'attribut biométrique de référence et de l'indice, l'enregistrement de la signature inconnue, la localisation de l'attribut biométrique extrait et la comparaison des attributs biométriques de référence et extrait sont tous réalisés sur place.
