Abstract

On présente un bioréacteur triphasique pour le traitement physicochimique d'un gaz. Le bioréacteur triphasique comprend une chambre de réaction avec un liquide et des biocatalyseurs en suspension dans ce liquide, dont la fonction est de catalyser la réaction entre le gaz et le liquide pour obtenir un gaz traité et une solution contenant un produit de réaction. On propose une façon de faire barboter le gaz dans le liquide et d'accroître la pression à l'intérieur de la chambre de réaction. Le bioréacteur comporte également une entrée pour le liquide qui communique avec la chambre de réaction, et sert à l'admission du liquide et au remplissage de la chambre de réaction, une sortie de liquide qui communique avec la chambre de réaction et permet à la solution de sortir, ainsi qu'une sortie de gaz qui communique avec la chambre de réaction et laisse s'échapper le gaz traité. Le bioréacteur comporte aussi un dispositif de rétention qui permet de garder les biocatalyseurs à l'intérieur de la chambre de réaction. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'utilisation du bioréacteur triphasique. Ce dernier peut être utilisé profitablement pour retirer le dioxyde de carbone d'un gaz qui en contient.
