Abstract
L'invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et des réseaux de communications destinés à assurer une protection dans un réseau optique. Dans une réalisation, l'invention concerne un noeud source comprenant un système de commutation à répartiteur optique comportant une carte de port source dotée d'un séparateur permettant de diviser un signal optique entrant en deux signaux optiques semblables. Les deux signaux optiques semblables contiennent la même information. Un dispositif de commutation optique de source permet de commuter, respectivement, un des deux signaux optiques semblables vers une première carte de port destination puis vers un noeud adjacent, et l'autre des deux signaux vers une seconde carte de port destination puis vers un noeud adjacent différent, de telle façon que les deux signaux optiques semblables soient alors acheminés différemment dans le réseau optique. Un noeud destination, comportant un système de commutation à répartiteur optique, reçoit respectivement les deux signaux optiques semblables via des première et seconde cartes de port destination. Le système de commutation à répartiteur optique du noeud destination comprend un dispositif de commutation optique de destination destiné à commuter chacun des deux signaux optiques semblables vers une carte de port destination possédant un commutateur sélecteur. Ce commutateur sélecteur permet de sélectionner un des deux signaux optiques semblables disponibles, de telle façon que, si l'un des signaux optiques semblables différemment acheminé n'arrive pas à atteindre le noeud destination, en raison d'une défaillance dans le réseau optique, l'autre de ces signaux soit toujours disponible. Ainsi, la même information est assurée sur la carte de port destination du noeud destination et une protection optique 1+1 est mise en place sur le réseau optique.
