Abstract
"Switch Blades" bladedskateboard kit enables the rider of an existing skateboard or in-line wheeled scooter to convert it for use on ice.
"Switch Blades" are designed to simulate as closely as possible summer skateboarding or scooting across an icy surface.
The invention consists of a solid, shaped or molded blocks, fabricated from metal or plastic, either encasing a small skateblade or designed without a blade; offered thus in a one piece or two pieceversion.

DESCRIPTION:
"Switch Blades" bladed skateboard kit is a set of small skate-type devices which replace the wheels of a skateboard or in-line wheel equiped scooter using the existing fastening system of the skateboard or scooter. "Switch Blades" enable the rider to enjoy their chosen sport on ice, during winter. "switch Blades" will differ slightly in size and shape in order to accomodate various rider styles and levels of performance. The "Switch Blades" kit includes a spring loaded or elasticised rod mechanism which attaches to the skateboard trucks or to the scooter frame; provided to stabilize and equalize the position of the blade units during the operation.

Claims
The "Switch Blades" bladed skateboard kit invention consists of a solid skateblock device, shaped or molded from any cold and impact-resistant material, into which is embedded a blade device similar to a small iceskate blade (see figs. 7.1, 7.2, 7.3). This bladed device will be available without blades in a similar design (see figs. 8.1, 8.2, 8.3).
The "Switch Blades" skate-type device will easily replace the wheels (one per wheel) of skateboard or scooter to facilitate the use of the skate-board or scooter on any icy surface.
