Abstract

The closure device includes a first fastening strip (240) and a second fastening strip (241) arranged to be interlocked over a predetermined length and a slider (200) with an engaging finger (210).
The slider (200) facilitates the occlusion and deoc-clusion of the fastening strips (240, 241) when moved along the fastening strips. One or both of the fastening strips also includes an uneven surface (250) having protrusions (252). When the slider is moved along the fastening strips, the engaging finger (210) contacts the uneven surface (250). The contact between the engaging finger (210) and the uneven surface (250) produces a sensory indication of movement of the slider (200). The sensory indication may include a tactile indication and/or an audible indication.
