Description

Description, Application and use of Seat - adjustable for Inflatables This adjustable seat is intended to be used with inflatable boat equipped with Air-tubes 15"
to 17" in diameter.
All inflatables come from the factory equipped with a seat, usually no more then a wooden board. This seat is always installed in the proper position for rowing the inflatable.
Although this seat can be " removed ", it can not be used anywhere else in the boat as the " fastening hangers" for the seat are permanently glued to the tubes. For this reason the operator running the boat as well as passengers as a rule sit on the tubes of the boat. This is not only uncomfortable but extremely dangerous as one can easily fall backwards overboard.
The adjustable seat will fit inflatables from about 8ft to 16 ft. and it can be moved anywhere within the straight section ofthe boat. The seat is held in place between the tubes by adjusting it approximately 1" longer then the distance between to tubes. This will secure the seat tight enough to keep it in place but not too tight to be removed if the operator wants to. Also fishing seats with back and arm rests are easily installed on the seat.
The adjustable seat is supplied disassembled to the boater and it is assembled in less then ten minutes. Seat is constructed of aluminum and powder coated.
