Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif et une méthode permettant de produire une cavitation homogène. Une source d'ultrasons comprend un élément (20) émetteur d'ultrasons présentant un axe (5) et une section transversale le long de cet axe. Cet élément comporte une première extrémité axiale (1) et une seconde extrémité axiale (2) émettant des ondes ultrasoniques. La surface de la section est maximum au niveau de la première extrémité axiale et minimum au niveau de la seconde extrémité axiale. L'invention concerne également une méthode permettant de produire une cavitation homogène dans une zone de la peau. Cette méthode consiste à créer un volume de liquide présentant une concentration à dispersion uniforme de noyaux de cavitation contre la surface de la peau, puis à appliquer des ultrasons au volume de fluide pour déclencher une cavitation des noyaux de cavitation.
