Abstract

A one piece moulded device for protecting, housing and dispensing a plurality of cards.
The front wall of the housing is flexible and has an opening and slot for the easy loading and dispensing of cards. While holding the device in one hand the cards can be easily manually removed one or more at a time by simply pushing the cards up with the forefinger through the hole in the back wall, and simultaneously pushing forward with the thumb, of the same hand, in the slot opening in the front wall of the device to produce a card(s).
Favourable features of this invention are that it is very inexpensive to produce out of a one piece mould, modern and aesthetically pleasing in appearance, and there are no parts to be assembled.

Description

DESCRIPTION
This invention relates to a multi-card protector, holder and dispenser device which is capable of holding a plurality of cards and effectively dispensing them outwardly one or more at a time.
The user can easily hold the device in one hand, and with up-ward pressure from the forefinger applied through the hole in the rear wall of the device can then raise the plurality of cards within, in preparation for easy exit, and simultaneously applying a forward sliding motion and pressure with the thumb in the slot opening of the top front wall window is able to produce a cards) from the plurality of stacked cards therein.
The remaining cards are retained within the body of the de-vice by the top wall and the additional inward pressure of the flexible front wall.
The dimensional relationship between the exit rail and the upward pressure of the forefinger and the thumbs forward sliding pressure provides for an arrangement which allows only one or a few selected cards at a time to be stripped from the exit location of the device while effectively maintaining the remaining cards within the body of the device.
This device can be very inexpensive to manufacture in a one piece mould, and from a wide array of materials such as card-board, plastic, metal, and especially recycled materials.

Recycled materials are beneficial since they help protect our environment.
Business cards are an essential means of communication and promotion in todays business environment, net working and social events~making it advantages and necessary for people to carry a plurality of business cards to distribute in a professional manner.
Business cards are easily damaged when loosely carried be-comming frayed, soiled or discoloured, and damaged cards are very unprofessional.
In the past there have been numerous attempts to provide hand-held card carriers and dispensers which serve to house a plurality of cards for dispensing when needed. However, many such prior art dispensers have not only proven to be awkward, but are expensive to produce and also quite often get lost or displaced. Business card dispenser designs in most cases are complicated to justify manufacturing costs, awkward to refill, or too expensive to purchase for every-one. There is therefore a hungry need for an inexpensive and aesthetically pleasing, easy to load and dispensing device for protecting, housing and dispensing card like media.
