Abstract

Un ensemble pile à combustible à membrane et électrolyte polymère (10) comporte un côté anode (12) et un côté cathode (14), séparés par la membrane et générant du courant électrique par des réactions électrochimiques entre un gaz combustible et un oxydant. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, on forme les zones hydrophiles de la plaque arrière de diffusion de gaz (24) en cousant un fil hydrophile (34) dans celle-ci (24).
