Abstract
This breast prosthesis is made of fabric materials. The outer shell contains a base portion and a filler portion. The filler portion and the base portion are separated by a lining. The base portion has a compartment full of flax seeds. The filler portion has a plurality of batting discs which are superimposed over each other and attached to the lining by a fabric sling.
A nipple is made of fabric material and is attached to the foremost disc.
The flax seeds in the base portion provide the prosthesis with weight and malleability and the superimposed discs in the filler portion gives it projection and fullness. A flap extends from the side of the outer shell to create an underarm extension.

Description
TITLE: BREAST PROSTHESIS
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention pertains to breast prosthesis, and more particularly, it pertains to breast prosthesis made of fabric materials and flax seeds.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This prosthesis is designed for use in cases of mastectomy of one or both breasts. It specifically addresses the problem of tissue loss - gland and muscle in the underarm section - by a left or right lengthening of this section. No adhesive is necessary, except in cases where a partial breast prosthesis is needed (e.g. half breast). In this case a velcro type adhesive is used and is placed between front outer shell and inside the bra wall.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
The outer shell is composed of 100% nylon fibers. The fabric is very soft, smooth and pliable. A central cavity which is created by the separate structure of the front and back sections is filled with flax seeds.
The front section is designed for flexibility and movement.
Graduated disc shapes of bonded batting with a nipple attachment formed from fabric are sewn to an X-shaped fabric sling made of stretch fabric.
The sling with attachments are connected to the inner lining by stitching of the four ends of the sling. The front outside shell has a dart placement under the nipple area to create some fullness.

diagonal line of stitching prevents the flax seeds from flowing out of the main breast section into the underarm extension. The flax seeds are added and the opening is closed.
Advantages 1). Can be extended to cover more than frontal breast.

6). No specialty bra is required as the prosthesis can be worn in any regular style bra.
Claims (3)
1. A breast prosthesis comprising a base portion, a filler portion mounted on said base portion and a cover portion enclosing said base portion and said filler portion;
said base portion comprising a pouch-like cavity containing flax seeds ;
said filler portion comprising a plurality of concentrically superimposed discs made of batting material, and said cover portion being made of a fabric material.

2. The breast prosthesis as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a triangular portion extending laterally from said base portion.
3. The breast prosthesis as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a X-shape sling affixed to said base and overlapping said filler portion.
