Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un élément élastique comportant une matière élastomère de renfort possédant une première surface et une deuxième surface opposée à la première surface, et une première couche de couverture qui est assemblée à la première surface de la matière élastomère. Selon une réalisation de l'invention, ladite matière élastomère de renfort présente un allongement à la rupture (EB, elongation at breaking) d'au moins 600 % environ. Selon une autre réalisation de l'invention, la matière élastomère de renfort possède une résistance au déchirement (TR, tearing resistance) d'au moins 16 heures environ. La présente invention se rapporte également à un vêtement jetable possédant un élément structurel définissant une région avant, une région arrière et une région d'entrejambes située entre la région avant et la région arrière ; au moins une paire de panneaux latéraux orientés vers l'extérieur de l'élément structurel dans la région avant ou arrière ; l'un au moins de ces panneaux latéraux comportant une matière élastomère orientée vers l'extérieur de l'élément structurel. Ledit élément structurel comporte une feuille supérieure perméable aux liquides, une feuille de support imperméable aux liquides et associée à la feuille supérieure, et une âme absorbante disposée entre la feuille supérieure et la feuille de support. Dans une autre réalisation de l'invention, la matière élastomère de renfort possède une valeur d'élongation à la rupture (EB) d'au moins 600 % environ. Et dans une réalisation encore différente, la matière élastomère de renfort possède une résistance au déchirement (TR) d'au moins 16 heures environ.
