L'invention concerne un appareil permettant la distribution de cartes à jouer de façon programmée et notamment de cartes de bridge, sans que les joueurs n'aient eu connaissance du contenu de la donne avant de les avoir jouées.
La demanderesse a déjà développé de nombreuses études sur le sujet qui ont fait l'objet de différents dépôts de brevets, tels que les brevets FR 2 595 259 ou EP
310 516.
Si les appareils décrits dans ces brevets sont fiables techniquement, ils ont l'important inconvénient, ainsi que ceux identifiés dans les procédures d'examen, I S d'être d'un maniement très loin des habitudes naturelles des joueurs qui souhaitent et recherchent des appareils leur permettant de conserver les gestes traditionnels d'un joueur de cartes lors d'une donne.
Ainsi, un premier but recherché selon l'invention était de concevoir un appareil distributeur de jeux de cartes qui soit d'une conception telle qu'il lui permette la reproduction du geste naturel d'un joueur de cartes lors d'une donne.
La distribution des cartes à partir des appareils précités s'effectue en mode automatique ou manuel, les cartes étant codées. La distribution automatique des cartes à l'aide de moyens mécaniques, électroniques, permet un contrôle et une régulation de la vitesse de sortie et de prélèvement des cartes. Il en est différemment dans le cas d'un dépilage manuel du bloc de cartes. PLAYING CARD DISPENSING APPARATUS

Un autre but recherché selon l'invention était de réaliser un appareil distributeur qui ait une très faible consommation en énergie et qui puisse être mis en service ou hors service en fonction des temps d'utilisation.

Selon une autre disposition importante de l'invention, les cartes à jouer, comme représentées figure 3, sont agencées pour recevoir, dans la partie transversale supérieure et inférieure, une codification (2a) qui est établie selon l'invention pour avantageusement répondre à deux fonctions, l'une de reconnaissance même de la carte et l'autre permettant le calcul de vitesse de tirage de la carte hors de l'appareil.
Cette codification double est particulièrement avantageuse en ce qu'elle permet une reconnaissance immédiate de la carte tout en évitant les erreurs dues aux écarts éventuels de vitesse des cartes entraînant par ce fait un taux d'erreur de lecture quasiment nul.
La zone adjacente de l'appareil distributeur selon l'invention pour recevoir l'empilage des cartes est agencée pour recevoir le dispositif visuel (5) orientant l'utilisateur sur le destinataire de la carte dépilée, ainsi que la mémoire recevant les donnes prédéterminées ainsi que le moyen énergétique de fonctionnement. Le dispositif visuel est du type de celui décrit dans le brevet EP 310 S 16 du demandeur.

Ainsi, l'absence de tout moteur et la seule alimentation de diodes permet la visualisation et l'attribution de donnes, ainsi que l'alimentation du micro-processeur de fonctionnement pernlet d' avoir recours à une très faible consommation en énergie, donnant ainsi un caractère attrayant à l'appareil.
Selon une disposition complémentaire de l'invention, l'appareil peut être équipé d'un moyen de sélection de lecture (16) établi sous forme de molette par exemple comme représenté plus particulièrement à la figure 6 des dessins.
Cette molette est susceptible de coopérer avec un disque ( 17) monté sur un axe. Ce disque comprend un ensemble de signes alphanumériques permettant de sélectionner le numéro de la donne à distribuer, mais également de sélectionner la fonction à
utiliser.
Ainsi, la fonction transmise d'enregistrement de donnes peut être référencée sur la molette par la lettre (T) avant la réception de transmissions de donnes et donc à leur enregistrement. La deuxième fonction de sélection de la série de donnes peut être référencée par la lettre (S). Des chiffres correspondant à des positions numérotées de 1 à 8 par exemple servent à sélectionner la série de donnes à
distribuer. Dans la mise en oeuvre de l'invention et avantageusement, le chiffre apparaissant sur ie disque précité peut avoir une correspondance avec la valeur de la carte du jeu. Ainsi, la sélection de la série n° 3 nécessite le positionnement de la molette sur la position (S) et l'introduction d'une carte 3, qu'il s'agisse du 3 de trèfle, de carreau, de coeur ou de pique, le lecteur optique permettant de visualiser les caractéristiques de ladite carte ensuite transmises au micro-processeur qui peut confirmer la sélection de la donne. Un jeu actuel de 52 cartes ayant 13 types de S numéros de cartes, on peut sélectionner 13 séries de 8 positions de molettes, soit 104 donnes préenregistrées.
Dans une variante de mise en oeuvre, en vue d'obtenir un nombre de donnes préenregistrées beaucoup plus important, il est possible de faire référence aux couleurs des cartes, et donc d'utiliser avec la sélection le 1 de trèfle, puis le 1 de carreau, puis le 1 de coeur, puis le 1 de pique avant de passer au 2 de trèfle et ainsi de suite. Cela permet de sélectionner 52 séries de 8 positions, soit 41 b donnes préenregistrées. II est possible dans le cadre d'une extension d'utiliser des combinaisons de plusieurs cartes pour augmenter le nombre de séries sélectionnées.
L'appareil distributeur de jeux de cartes décrit selon l'invention présente de très nombreux avantages par sa simplicité, son ergonomie et son utilisation correspondant très exactement à la manipulation habituelle des joueurs pour la distribution des cartes.
Sans sortir du cadre de l'invention, l'appareil distributeur peut être agencé
avec des moyens complémentaires de branchement (18) permettant de le mettre liaison directe avec un écran d'ordinateur ou de télévision. L'enregistrement de donnes par lecture optique directe peut s'effectuer ainsi sur les écrans d'ordinateurs ou de télévisions à partir de codes délivrés par tous moyens, qu'il s'agisse du réseau Internet, du câble ou autre.
