Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'évaluation de la dégradtion d'une image vidéo codée par blocs de points images ou pixels. Il comporte les étapes suivantes: (a) sélectionner une image d'entrée et déterminer son activité spatiale (SA) dans une fenêtre d'analyse selon les sous-étapes suivantes: (i) déterminer pour chaque bloc (n, m) les coefficients transformés Fn, m (i, y) par une transformée par blocs; (ii) déterminer à partir des coefficients transformés Fn, m (i, y) l'activité spatiale bsa de chaque bloc; (iii) déterminer l'activité spatiale globale SA1 de la fenêtre d'analyse; (b) sélectionner l'image de sortie correspondant à l'image d'entrée et déterminer ladite activité spatiale globale SA2 de l'image de sortie; (c) comparer les activités spatiales (SA2) et (SA1).The invention relates to a method for evaluating the degradation of a video image coded by blocks of image points or pixels.
