Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés et un appareil permettant d'obtenir de l'hydrogène à partir d'eau. Ces procédés consistent à chauffer l'eau jusqu'à une température de dissociation de manière à obtenir un mélange réactionnel dissocié comprenant de l'hydrogène et de l'oxygène à l'état gazeux. On crée dans le mélange réactionnel un tourbillon afin de soumettre ce mélange à une force centrifuge sur l'axe longitudinal interne d'un réacteur à tube vortex de telle sorte que se produise une stratification radiale des gaz d'hydrogène et d'oxygène dans l'espace interne dudit tube. L'hydrogène et l'oxygène doivent de préférence être extraits du mélange réactionnel en des points espacés le long de l'espace interne du réacteur à tube vortex.
