Abstract
The present invention relates to a simplified connecting structure of a curtain-type lighting string, which includes a main wire and several separated strings thereon. A bypassed wire is provided between every two nearby string instead of the upward connecting wire and connects both ends respectively with a bottom bulb of both strings. So the needed amount of the connecting wire will be reduced and the assembly of the lighting strings becomes more convenient and simple.
Description
TITLE: Simplified Connecting Structure of a Curtain-type Lighting String BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
A curtain-type lighting string is popular in these days, which includes several separated strings having a equal length or a different total length as shown in figures 1, 3, and 5. The conventional curtain-type lighting string, for example in figure 1, is provided with a basic wire (b) and a connecting wire (a) becoming a first string ( 1 ). The connecting wire (a) exi:ends from a bottom bulb ( 19) back to near the main wire (b) and then connects to a first bulb (21) of the second string
(2). During the same procedures as above, a curtain-type lighting string is completed. In this structure, it is known that long connecting wire (a) will be needed and the manufacture or assembly of the lighting string is more difficult. Figure 3 shows a similar curtain-type lighting string to figure 1, which includes an end socket (d) thereof. Figure 5 shows another curtain-type lighting string, which has the lighting strings with a different length, wherein a different symbol indicates a different connecting bulb series. Both lighting strings in figures 3 and 5 need a large amount of the connecting wire.
In view of the above problems, the primary object of the invention is to provide a simplified connecting structure of the curtain-type lighting string in order to overcome prior known drawbacks. Now the features and advantages of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
Figure 1 is a plan view of a conventional curtain-type lighting string.
Figure 2 is a plan view of an improvement of figure 1 according to the present invention.
Figure 3 is a plan view of another conventional curtain-type lighting string.
Figure 4 is a plan view of an improvement of figure 3 according to the present invention.
Figure 5 is a plan view of a still conventional curtain-type lighting string having the strings with different length.
Figure 6 is a plan view of an improvement of figure 5 according to the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to figure 2 firstly, it can be seen that it is an improvement of the prior structure of figure 1. A bypassed wire (c) is provided to connect one end with the end bulb ( 19) of the first string ( 1 ) and the other end with an end bulb (29) of the second string (2), which is then connected with the connecting wire (a). The bypassed wire (c) is provided between every two nearby strings parallel. So the used amount of the connecting wire (a) is obviously reduced and the connection or assembly of the lighting string is simplified.
Figure 4 shows an improved structure only having an end socket (d) relating to figure 3 and has a same effect of simplified connection as well as less need of the connecting wire. When the application according to the present invention is practiced on a curtain-type lighting string with a different length of the strings, please referring to figures 5 and 6, it will be described as following for example by the O-symbol string. In figure 6, it can be found that a bypassed wire is also provided to connect it~c one end with an end bulb of a fore string and the other end with a bulb at a parallel position of a rear string. So the needed amount of connecting wire of figure 6 according to the invention is less than of the prior design of figure 5, while the assembly of figure 6 becomes more convenient than before.
Accordingly, the present invention provides a simplified connecting structure of a curtain-type lighting string for reducing the needed amount of the connecting wire and simplifying the assembly of the lighting string. And pit has excellent practical value in the field.
Evidently the invention is thus allowable for patent.
