Abstract

A secure electrical power outlet device comprises at least one receptac le assembly, at least one plug assembly, and a face plate. The receptacle assembly comprises a round externally screw-threaded female connector. The plug assembly comprises an internally screw-threaded ring, slidably and rotatably mounted around a round male connector. The round male connector of the plug assembly slidably engages with the round externally screw-threaded female connector of the receptacle assembly, and the internally screw-threaded ring of the plug assembly screws into the round externally screw-threaded female connector of the receptacle assembly in order to secur e the connection between the plug assembly and the receptacle assembly. The secure electrical power outlet device maintains backward compatibility with a conventional plug assembly and with a conventional receptacle assembly. This invention relates to electrical power outlet devices, and the principal use of the invention is for electrical connection.
