Abstract

On décrit un nouveau système et une nouvelle méthode asynchrones de traitement de messages dans lesquels un processus se définit complètement en fonction d'un état et d'un type. Des messages à l'arrivée reçus par un noeud de réseau sont stockés dans une file d'attente des messages à l'arrivée et traités séquentiellement dans l'ordre de leur arrivée. Des messages sortant sont stockés dans une file d'attente des messages sortant et acheminés séquentiellement dans l'ordre de leur émission à destination d'un noeud de réseau. Les messages à l'arrivée transmis pour traitement sont gérés par l'appel d'un code d'application particulier de traitement des messages qui tourne complètement et peut modifier l'état de traitement. Les modifications de l'état de traitement sont atomiques en ce sens qu'elles aboutissent complètement ou n'aboutissent pas du tout; les modifications de l'état de traitement ne s'exécutent pas partiellement.
