Abstract

Cet extrait concerne l'ensemble et la méthode pour une mise en bocaux automatique de cornichons coupés. Les cornichons sont taillés en longueur et livrés à un poste ou plus de coupe et de mise en bocaux où ils sont coupés en tranches ou équivalent, et les tranches sont divisées entre une paire de points de chute pivotants. Les points de chute sont tournés à l'écart les uns des autres et sont alignés respectivement sur une paire de points de chute de bocaux, ces derniers s'étendant dans les ouvertures des bocaux à remplir. Les cornichons coupés sont livrés par l'intermédiaire des points de chute des bocaux à un certain angle par rapport au plan de l'ouverture du bocal et l'axe du bocal, et vers la paroi externe des bocaux contre laquelle ils sont déposés. Dès que chaque charge est placée dans un bocal, le bocal est indexé par rotation en état de préparation pour la prochaine charge et les charges déposées précédemment sont retenues contre la paroi externe du bocal par un mandrin qui s'étend dans le bocal pendant l'opération de chargement.
