Abstract
For the use of toothbrush to clean the teeth, it is recommended that the head of the toothbrush should be placed beside teeth with the bristle tips at a 45 degree angle against the gum line.
Sodium Fluoride or mouth wash are used to fight cavities, tartan and many other gum diseases.
In PRAF Toothbrush, rectangular head with rounded edges contains bristles in five rows. They are classified as:
Bristle of outer row.
Bristles of intermediate row.
Bristle of central row.
Bristles of all rows Do not have the same length. Instead, inclined cutting of bristles making 45 degree angle with horizontal plane is the unique characteristic of PRAF
toothbrush as shown in figure 1 & 2.
Tuft of each row is not rounded end. Instead, it has Tapered End Which is 2nd important characteristic of PRAF toothbrush as shown in figure 4.
In PRAF toothbrush, there is passage for flow of sodium fluoride/mouthwash through micro holes located on Head around the bristles. The passage runs along neck and handle. The flow of Sodium fluoride/mouthwash through head of brush is the 3rd unique feature giving this tooth brush a NEW PRODUCT as shown in figure 6 & 7.

Description
DESCRIPTION OF PRAF TOOTHBRUSH
PRAF toothbrush is a Manual tooth brush.
Part of Toothbrush Head Neck Handle Sodium Fluoride/in liquid form/mouth wash HEAD
It is rectangular with rounded edges It is transparent so that it could be easy to see the presence of sodium fluoride/mouthwash.
It is not completely solid. Instead, it is hollow inside, acting as active container for sodium fluoride/mouthwash.
The upper surface where tufts are strongly embedded, there are micro holes around each bundle of tufts and flow of sodium fluoride/mouthwash takes place through them.
BRISTLES.
Bristles are in five rows. They are classified as Bristles of outermost row. Two in number Bristles of intermediate row. Two in number.
Bristles of central now. One in number.
If you hold PRAF tooth brush in front of you, you will see bristles of five rows make two inclined plane. In other words, they are tapered. Actually when you join the tip of the tuft of the outermost row to the tip of the most central tuft of the central row, by a line you get a 45 degree angle as shown in figure No. 2.
The inclined cutting of bristles coincides 45 degree angle against the gum line and gives the close approximation with teeth and gingiva. The tapered cutting of bristles makes the most simple and easy to brush the teeth. The tapered cutting makes an even pressure on all bristles.
The end of each tuft is obliquely rounded as shown in figure No. 4 Not only the bristles of all rows, even tufts of single row do not have the same length.
NECK
It is long angulated to get access to back teeth. It is hollow inside.
It acts as small passage for sodium fluoride/mouthwash from handle to head.
As it is angulated so it increases the flow of liquid when valve is open as will be explained later on.
It is compressible to increase extra flow of sodium fluoride/mouthwash through micro holes of head.
Handle Besides gripping the brush, it acts as main container of sodium fluoride/mouthwash which can be refilled through opening at its free end.
It has valve, when it is closed it prevents back ward flow of sodium fluoride/mouthwash from neck to handle or vice versa.
Valve can be opened or closed mechanically.
Valve has such a design that just by a gentle pressure of thumb or forger, it is closed and by removing pressure, it is open.
VALVE
It is very close to junction of handle and neck. Actually when you hold the toothbrush for brushing, you get access to valve.
It can be opened or closed mechanically.
It is open, in resting condition.
It can be closed just by little force of thumb or forger during brushing which gives a push to Sodium fluoride/mouthwash to flow out from head as shown in figure No.
7.
It controls the flow of Sodium fluoride/mouthwash from handle to head.
It separates handle from neck.

HANDLE : (By pouring sodium fluoride/mouthwash into handle through opening at free end of handle).
VALVE: (At resting condition, valve is open so mouthwash flows into neck and stays at head).
