Abstract
Adhesive Eyeglass Nose Bridge Adjuster Pads (AENBAPs) adjust the portion of eyeglasses in contact with the nose bridge by decreasing the allowable space for the nose to fit. They are to be used with eyeglasses without adjustable nose pads (ie: eyeglasses in which the frontal eyepiece portion is molded from one piece of plastic), and are intended for use by persons with a small or low nose bridge.
The wearer simply peels off the backing of the adjuster pads, and adheres them to the inside of the eyeglasses in contact with the wearer's nose bridge.
AENBAPs are made of soft plastic, and come in a range of fashion colors. There is an adhesive on the back surface. They are manufactured by filling wells in a mold having a negative impression of the pads with the plastic in its viscous liquid state. After hardening, an adhesive is spread over the surface of the mold, after which a paper similar to wax paper is placed so it can be removed when the adhesive properties are required. Edges of the wells are scored with a cutter for easy separation of the pads (with adhered wax paper), from the mold.

Description
Description:
AENBAPs measure approximately l3mm(1) x 7mm(w) to Smm x 2.Smm(d). They are made of sofr plastic. The upper side is convex and the under side is flat, when seen in cross section. The flat side contains the adhesive. A peel-off backing similar to wax paper covers the adhesive side.
pisclosure:
With more varieties of eye wear on the market, it has become increasingly diffcult to find a pair of eyeglasses which both fit well, and satisfy esthetic tastes of the wearer.
Many young people now choose to wear eyeglasses to portray the image of their choice. The nose bridge in younger people is often not as prominent, and is situated lower on the face, especially in young children and infants. In addition, people from different cultures are now choosing to wear frames not necessarily made for their face-type. (For example, people of oriental ethnicity often have a lower, smaller nose bridge.) AENBAPs reversibly alter the inner part of eye glasses (where the nose bridge fits), by discretely decrease the space available for the nose bridge to fit, giving the appearance that the eyeglasses are "made for the wearer".

Claims (2)
- Claim:
Adhesive Eyeglass Nose Bridge Adjuster Pads (AENBAPs):
a) Adjust the area of inner part of the eyeglasses in contact with the wearer's nose bridge.
b) Have an adhesive backing (that adheres to the inner part of the eyeglasses in contact with the nose bridge) which is removable with mild solvents.
c) Adjust the inner part of the eyeglasses in contact with the nose bridge reversibly by adhering to the eyeglass frame material, at the inner area in contact with the nose bridge (without needing to alter the eyepiece or any other portion of the glasses in any way).
d) Are specially shaped to fit any inner portion of the eyepiece of eyeglasses in contact with the nose bridge in a discrete, non obstructive manner with its oval, convex shape smooth surface that is not irritating to the skin.
e) Replace metal attachments made for the same purpose. (These metal attachments permanently render the eyeglasses.) f) Are made to be used on eyeglasses whose eyepiece is formed from a single piece of plastic or other material that may be used in manufacturing. - 2 of 3
