Description
The invention that I would like to patent is a device for tying boats to docks ,but the device is not part of the dock. This unit is kept in the boat and can be used any where, there is a spacing of boards between which the device can be placed.
The device works in this manner. The 3/8 inch zinc coated rod with a 2 " eye has a 1 1/a inch fender washer welded to the top and with a 4 " stainless steel spring loaded on the rod and then secured with a 2 inch fender washer which is free moving . The total is secured by a 3 " by 3/8 " zinc coated rod , which is welded ,at right angles at the bottom of the first rod.
Operating instructions: For Mooring and Anchoring a Boat to a Dock or tying items to decks or park benches.
First check to make sure there are no defects in the welding, then select the length of rope you want to use at this point tie the rope onto the EZE Docker threw the

Operating instructions: For Mooring and Anchoring a Boat to a Dock or tying items to decks or park benches.
First check to make sure there are no defects in the welding, then select the length of rope you want to use at this point tie the rope onto the EZE Docker threw the
2 " ring , once the rope is securely tied to the ring then you can select a slot between the dock or deck boards in which to insert the 3" lower rod of the EZE Docker. Push the rod down compressing the spring while holding onto the 2" inch ring, hold securely to the ring and make 1/z turn right or left , then gently release the ring and check for security of the device. The Eze Docker will be secured by the 3 inch bar and the 2" washer by the compression of the spring, onto the wood of the dock or deck. Be sure to select a sight that is solid with no lose or rotten boards. When you are ready to move from one area to another, one must remove the Eze Docker from the dock by compressing the spring while holding down on the 2" ring, then turn the 3' inch bar until you can see it that it lines up with the space in the boards of the dock , then lift out of the space. The total length of the Eze Docker is 6 and 3/8 inches long and weighs approximately 5 ounces or 150 grams.
The EZE Docker once removed from the dock can be kept tied to the rope and stay in the boat to tie to any docking facility. See the drawing that have been included.
