Abstract

L'invention concerne en général des compositions de vaccin immunocontraceptif, comprenant des polypeptides antigéniques contenant des déterminants antigéniques de protéine mammalienne de sperme sp56. Les polypeptides antigéniques peuvent être des polypeptides synthétiques, des protéines hybrides et des molécules chimères. Le vaccin est administré de préférence à des mammifères sauvages sous forme d'appât ou d'aliment pour animaux, Cerains modes de réalisation décrivent l'utilisation de séquences de sp56 spécifiques aux espèces. L'invention concerne également des procédés immunocontraceptifs, des anticorps immunoréactifs avec les déterminants antigéniques sp56, et les procédés de criblage pour la fertitité du sperme.
