Abstract

Procedure for cell selection during access by a mobile station to a mobile cellular radio communications network, this process essentially characterised in that the said network includes various types of cells in which different types of services are available, it includes the following steps: - selection of the cell by the said mobile station for access to the network, - access to the network in the cell thus selected, corresponding to a given type of cell, -depending on the type of service required for the said communication, the decision to transfer this communication or not towards another type of cell, the latter being a better cell in terms of services.
