Abstract
Inflatable clothing that is designed for comfort.
Inflatable, waterproof air capsules are incorporated into clothing to cushion various parts of the user's body while on hard, cold or wet surfaces or rough terrain.
The inflatable air capsules are comprised of durable, impermeable fabric and are inflated, deflated and pressure adjusted by the user by means of an inflation and deflation valve.
Inflatable air capsules may be used to cushion any part of the body.
For example: an inflatable air capsule designed into the lower, back panel of a coat or vest will provide people such as sportsmen, campers, sports fans, the elderly or frail, and people who live or work in cold or wet climates with a waterproof, cushioned seat within their garment.
Inflatable capsules may be designed into clothing to cushion the knees, shins, calves, ankles, hips, wrists, elbows, crotch, buttocks, back, head or neck or any other parts of the body.
Inflatable clothing lends itself to a wide range of design options for various types of activities and can be tailored to suit the specific needs of the user.

Description
The intlatable portion of the garment, similar in nature to a miniature air mattress ,will protect various parts of the user's body while they are sitting on hard benches, cold or wet surfaces, or working or reclining on rough terrain or snow.
The inflatable capsule will provide a cushion of air inside a durable, waterproof fabric, inflated by the user's own breath, or by means of an inflation and deflation valve.
In jackets or vests an inflatable capsule is designed into the lower back panel of the garment so that, when inflated, it provides a cushioned seat.
Additional capsules may also be used, particularly:
- up the back or front - into a hat or hood - down the arms, shins or calves - in the elbows For maximum protection options.
In a shorter jacket or vest the air capsule for the cushioned seat is designed to fasten at the hem and fold down to hang below the jacket or vest when inflated and in use as a cushion, and to fold up and fasten inside the garment when deflated.
The pants have an inflatable crotch and seat section and / or hip and knee cushions.
The various air capsules are designed so that they can also be used as additionsor attachments to a garment.
Please see enclosed sketches.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
Sincerely
