Abstract

L'invention porte sur un alliage amorphe vitreux essentiellement représenté par la formule: CoaFebNicMdBeSifCg dans laquelle M est sélectionné parmi du molybdène, du chrome et du manganèse et dans laquelle les lettres "a" à "g" représentent un pourcentage atomique, "a" étant compris entre 30 et 45 environ, "b" entre 4 et 40 environ, "c" entre 5 et 45 environ, "d" entre 0 et 3 environ, "e" entre 10 et 25 environ, "f" entre 0 et 15 environ, et "g" entre 0 et 2 environ. Il est possible de mouler cet alliage par solidification rapide dans un ruban, de le recuire pour renforcer ses propriétés magnétiques et de lui donner la forme d'un indicateur particulièrement approprié pour être utilisé dans des systèmes de surveillance d'articles à commande magnéto-mécanique. Pour un meilleur résultat, cet indicateur se caractérise par une réponse d'aimantation relativement linéaire dans un régime de fréquences où des systèmes à indicateurs d'harmoniques fonctionnent de façon magnétique. Les amplitudes de tension que l'on décèle dans cet indicateur sont élevées et une interférence existant entre des systèmes de surveillance se fondant sur une résonance mécanique et une re-radiance harmonique est à peu près éliminée.
