Abstract

"NETROPOLIS" offrira une gamme complète de services qui répondra à tout les besoins de tous, et tout cela accessible avec la carte magnétique CYBERGEN."CELNET" will be above all a portable terminal which will consist of a screen, a miniature microphone, a miniature camera included in the box, a numeric keyboard and a PCMCIA modem which will be able to transfer data, sound and fax, at a speed higher than 256 kbytes / sec with a digital signal or microwave using a sattelitte wave, to contact another terminal. (see English document for the drawing) With CELNET, the applicant will be able to see his interlocutor and speak to him and transfer faxes, with a speed higher than 256 kbytes / sec by digital wave and / or microwave using the satellite signal. And CELNET can contact the CYBERGEN server and thus access the NETROPOLIS website; virtual city where commerce and multimedia will be present and as an option CELNET will be able to use the virtual glasses that CYBERGEN will offer. (see second page of the English document). "NETROPOLIS" will offer a full range of services that will meet everyone's needs, and all this accessible with the CYBERGEN magnetic card.
