Abstract

Prothèse du genou comprenant un élément de prothèse fémorale (60) comportant des parties de surfaces articulaires antérieure (12), distale (15), et postérieures (13, 14). Les parties de surfaces articulaires comprennent une paire de parties de surface condyliennes (13, 14, 61, 62) qui sont positionnées à des distances différentes du plan de surface non articulaire. Dans une forme d'exécution, la surface articulaire postérolatérale est située à une plus grande distance de la surface antérieure non articulaire que la surface articulaire postéromédiale (fig. 1 et 15). La prothèse fémorale présente une surface non articulaire qui comporte un ensemble de surfaces d'intersection comprenant au moins des surfaces distales (23, 24), antérieures (17, 18) et postérieure (20, 21) recevant la partie distale du fémur du patient après sa préparation chirurgicale. Un composant tibial (50) présente des surfaces articulaires concaves recevant les parties de surfaces articulaires du composant fémoral pendant l'utilisation. L'angle de rotation fémorale généralement autour de l'axe mécanique change généralement dans une plage de mouvements normaux du genou du patient, tout en maintenant l'alignement des surfaces articulaires fémorales et tibiales. Cette prothèse fémorale présente également une région antérieure proximale (65) qui est concave (fig. 19). On présente également une structure perfectionnée à cannelure patellaire (fig. 20-24).
