Abstract

A hand-held light curing device has a light source and a light guiding device having a light receiving opening. A lens arrangement with a focusing lens is positioned between the light source and the light guiding device. The focusing lens has a cut-off filter at a surface thereof. The cut-off filter is preferably vapor-deposited on the surface. Preferably, the focusing lens is a plano-convex lens having a convex surface facing the light source.
