Abstract

Un dispositif d'injection de médicament pour administration sous-cutanée ou intramusculaire du médicament dissimule l'aiguille derrière un carénage d'aiguille. Lors de la mise en service de l'appareil, l'aiguille est poussée en avant, ce qui dégage le bout de l'aiguille à l'extérieur du carénage d'aiguille avec suffisamment de force pour perforer la peau. L'aiguille s'introduit ainsi automatiquement dans le tissu en respectant la bonne orientation de l'aiguille par rapport à la peau. Lors de la même action, l'appareil distribue automatiquement une dose exactement préétablie. La dose peut être déterminée soit par un ensemble doseur manuel variable soit par un ensemble doseur automatique. L'ensemble doseur automatique comporte un mécanisme de sécurité ne permettant la modification de la dose préétablie que par le médecin ou le patient utilisant une clé spéciale ou un outil spécial.
