Abstract

Pièce destinée à transférer de l'huile à un rouleau (2) dans un système fixeur d'une machine d'impression, telle qu'une photocopieuse ou une imprimante laser, qui est constituée de couches contiguës (17a, 17b, 17c, etc.) de feuilles de polytétrafluoroéthylène, dont le nombre va en général de trois à vingt. Ladite pièce peut être fabriquée par enroulement de tours d'une seule bande autour d'une partie centrale (par ex. dans le cas d'un rouleau (10)) ou être constituée de feuilles séparées (32). Le polytétrafluoroéthylène poreux peut être formé de particules de polytétrafluoroéthylène de type granulaire agrégées par fusion pour former un réseau poreux monobloc ou peut être un polytétrafluoroéthylène expansé poreux. Ladite pièce de transfert d'huile est facile à produire et possède d'excellentes propriétés d'alimentation en huile et d'essuyage du toner; elle résiste en outre à l'accumulation d'huile.
