Abstract
The Seat Cushion Space Arranger for Motor Vehicles is a flap fitted with pockets and compartments which is attached to the seat cushions in the front seat of vehicles, and is located across the front of the seat portion, behind the lower legs of the driver or passenger. It is designed to hold items in a handy location for ready access by the driver or passenger. The lower corners of the flap are held in secure position by spring hooks in grommets on the flap, which are then attached to the seat hardware.

This invention relates to a handy storage device for the storage of items which would provide easy access to these items by the driver or passenger of a vehicle.
E~isting storage devices for front-seat passengers and the driver consist of theglove compartment, the between-the-seat storage compartment and pockets in the sun-visors. The Seat Cll~hion Space Arranger for Motor Vehicles provides a~l~ition~l storage space and easier access to such items as maps, sun-glasses, vehicle papers, cigarettes, and other assorted items needed while driving.
The difficulty of acce~sing items in the glove compartment and the between-the-seat console, as well as the limited storage space available in sun-visor wallets makes the Seat Cllshion Space Arranger for Motor Vehicles a valuable additional easily accessible storage unit.

The st~nl1~rd seat cushion designed to augment the factory-installed car seat, is manufactured with a portion attached to the front edge of the seat segment of the cushion. This attached portion is designed to hang down along the front of the seat and beneath the knees of the driver or passenger, (as illustrated) and is fitted with several pockets and storage slots, ~ie~igned to hold maps, sun-glasses, vehicle papers, cigarettes and other assorted item~ needed while driving. Spring hooks (d) would secure the bottom corners of the Seat Cushion Space Arranger for Motor Vehicles to ensure it r~sm~ins in position during any vehicular manoeuvres, such as sudden stops.

The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:
The Seat Cushion Space Arranger for Motor Vehicles is a multi-pocketed flap which is attached as part of a conventional supplementary vehicle seat-cushion, designed so that the flap rests along the front of the seat portion of the vehicle seat and behind the lower legs of the driver or passenger, with the lower corners of the flap held secure against sudden stops by spring-hooks attached to grommets in each corner of the flap and attached to the seat hardware providing additional easily accessible storage space for maps, sun-glasses, vehicle papers, cigarettes and other assorted items needed while driving.
