Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil de gestion d'un système de télécommunications basée sur le crédit. L'une de ses variantes comporte une interface (133) fournissant des informations de crédit sur un abonné particulier et recevant des relevés (113) de communications relatifs à ce même abonné qui proviennent d'une centrale de commutation (111) chargée de l'établissement des liaisons entre les différents dispositifs de télécommunications. Un dispositif de limitation de crédit (131) utilise alors lesdites informations de crédit pour déterminer la limite de crédit de l'abonné. Une autre variante comporte un appareil utilisant une demande de validation de préappel associée à l'abonné d'un système de télécommunications qui tente d'établir une communication dans une zone desservie par un système différent (par exemple itinérant) pour détecter une activité potentiellement frauduleuse et notamment une fraude par clonage. Une troisième variante, comporte un dispositif de détection qui utilise une indication temporelle relative à une demande de validation de préappel pour identifier une communication survenant dans une séquence de temps improbable et indiquant la possibilité d'une communication frauduleuse.
