Wood handle 5 1/2" long and the corck is 1 3/4".
Description
Specifications B.B.Q. Grille Cleaner By: Rene Gomez This invention relates to a manually operative tool for cleaning B.B.Q. grills.
The nature and purpose of this tool is to correctly and effectively clean up a B.B.Q. grill with a minimum effort and mess. This cleaning device will accomplish various functions like: release of ashes, grease, food particles, etc. that are left or stuck on the grill surface after cooking and/or barbequing.
You carry out this function with a uniform movement and friction between the grill (surface) and the surface of teh cork's angle or the flat upper part. With each movement and ashes, etc. Where there is an added accumulation of these particles, you can improve the cleaning process by slightly increasing the angle of the handle and cork for the immediate release of these. This function can be performed with ghe grill being at room temperature or hot.
The drawing (attached) illustrates emboidiments of the invention.
This drawing illustrates teh design and manufacture of the B.B.Q.
Grill Cleaner. This design consists of two sections; 1) circular cork, length 3.76 cm and diameter 2.64cm, also a double cut in the upper part of the cork with a 60 degree angle; 2) A wooden handle with a length of 13.33 cm, and a diameter of 2.064 cm. The cork is inserted inside the wooden handle at a depth of 2.22 cm.
21~620 This will give a better consistency in the process of friction that this device carries out. The opening of the cork in the upper part consists of an angle from 60 to 90 degrees depending on the type of grill being used. The cell's physical properties which constitutes the cork, allows same, excellent qualities like water proofing, considerable resistence and great durability. This allows many different options and applications for this product. The cork is composed of a vegetable fabric which is formed by tubular cells whose walls are impregnated by a substance called suberina, and due to this, they are almost completely waterproof to water and gases, and at the same time, carries out protective functions, for this reason it has been deciced to use this type of material.
The wooden handle made of high grade and durability and at the same time very light, thus to carry out an easy manual movement this handle, round perforation on the top part in which teh cork is inserted. The internal diameter equals 2.22 cm. Also a second round perforation in the lower part with a 0.73 cm diameter that goes right through the wood and a countersink in both sides of this perforation with a 1.5 cm diameter, for the purpose of hanging the device when not in use.
In the drawing and manufacturing of this device it has accomplished the objectives of an excellent and effective cleaning procedure for B.B.Q. Grills at a minimum cost and effort. It's recommended to use this device adequately, also to replace the cork when worn out.
Turn and pull counter-clockwise, also do not place it or leave it on the B.B.Q. with heat on or an overheated grill.
