Abstract
The clock appears to be a miniature Grandfather Clock.
It stands 3'9" tall and 11" wide. The clock, itself is battery operated. The clock key, instead of winding the clock, turns a large inner wheel in the clock which forces a tape, to which a mouse is attached, to turn rapidly. When the child winds the clock, the mouse emerges from the base of the clock where it is hidden, and goes up one side, over the top and then down the other side. Then it rests ( upside down) hidden from view, until more winding causes it to emerge again.

Description
s-2~Y- 1- 2 ~ickory Dock Grandchild Clock ~ &~
This in~ant sized grandfather clock (3'9" tall, 11'~" wide) ha~
a unique feature, for which I seek a patent. The key does not wind the clock , which is battery operated, but turns the hid~en wheel forcing an elastic tape,to ~hich a mouse is attached,to circle the clock. The mouse is visible going up, over and down the clock, but when it is upside down at the base of the clock, the facade hides the mouse.
When the key turns the inner wooden wheel, the elastic - tape is forced up on the left, down on the right, taking the mouse up,over and down the sides of the clock-The wheel is supported by a shaft, held at either end by ball bearings, which are attached to the front and an interior panel of the clock.
Pine boards A,B,and C are '~" wider than side boards D
and E. Facade of clock is attached to A,B, and C, thus allowing mouse free track around clock

Claims
Claim I, Stephanie Middleton May, do solemnly swear before God Almighty, that the invention of a Dickory Dock Grandchild Clock is my original invention. To establish this belief as a matter of fact, I instituted a title search at the Trademark and Patent Office in Washington , D.C. The result of that search satisfied me completely that I am the sole inventor of Dickory Dock Grandchild Clock.
