Abstract
The "Prodoor Reinforcer" is a device to strengthen the door. It is made of one piece of aluminum and runs the full length of the edge of the door. It has no moving parts, but does have two cut-outs: one for a lock and the other for the door handle tongue.
There are nine chamfered screw holes. These are to secure the "Prodoor Reinforcer" to either the door or doorjamb, depending on whether the door opens inward or outward.

The material to be used is 1/8" aluminum. It is very light and very strong and cannot be bent. The fact that the "Prodoor Reinforcer" is screwed in place by screws evenly spaced along the full length of the door, only makes the "Prodoor Reinforcer" that much stronger. Any pressure brought to bear to loosen the screws will be unsuccessful as the screws are caught between the aoor and the doorjamb. As there is no visible opening between the door and the doorjamb, forced entry is made impossible via the "Prodoor Reinforcer".
The door or doorjamb may require some sanding in order to allow for the 1/8" thickness of the material used.

CLAIMS:
The purpose of the "Prodoor Reinforcer" is to prevent entry into a home via the doorway.
A door cannot be pried open via the "Prodoor Reinforcer".
This invention is made of 1/8" aluminum, which is very strong, light and cannot be bent.
The "Prodoor Reinforcer" reinforces the edge of the door and doorjamb.
The purpose of the "Prodoor Reinforcer" is to prevent entry into a home via the doorway.
