Abstract

ABSTRACT
PLASTIC AND CHEMICAL ,LIQUID RECYCLE PROCESS
Plastics and Chemical Recycle Process and Method of the Plastic and Recycle Recovery using Plastics and Chemical Recycle Process:

Patent abstract for process April 14 1993, designed and developed by Laverne Harold Strub June 2nd. 1986. In partnership with Stuart Martin. April 14, 1993.

The process in which this abstract represents, is to properly define the process and method of the process as to show relationship to each other, and to define that the method and process are one and the same and also separate in form. To demonstrate that the method and process are in relationship to the idea as so to be part of the same process in whole or in part for the purpose of this patent application.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION:
The Plastic and Chemical Recycle Process is described as to separate plastic waste products and to divide them into their own and distinct material composition. To also divide and separate plastic containers contents whether contents were liquid chemical, or liquid solution or mixture, and to reclaim the plastic material, at the same time recover liquid chemicals mixtures or solution that were contained in the plastic containers in which would be in the process of recycling.

Description

20~8~9 PLASTIC AND CHEMICAL,LIOUID R~CYCLE PROCESS:
PROCESS DEFINED:
Collected plastic bottle or container or any other plastic storage or holding vessel that was used for liquid chemical mixture or solution, (oil, glycol, soap, detergent, wine, fruit, juices, vinegars, bleaches, pop, or any other chemical liquid, mixture or solution that is housed or stored in any type of plastic container vessel or storage product) are to be separated into their own classification of material composition ~and respectively into their own contents classification as to not mix material plastic compositions and or chemical compositions in which would cause chemical reaction of properties and to avoid hazards. To also avoid contamination of plastics and or liquid~chemical contents. Here and after known as (Classification 1 )1. Other li~uids, chemicals, mixtures or solutions that can be reclaimed w1thout separation, that can be recovered later in the process called the method of recovery will be defined as separated in it's respect to the first classification, known as (Classification 2 ). In respect to classification 1 and classification 2 both classifications are of the same method and process but are done at separate intervals and after machinery clean up or machinery change has been done to prevent contamination.
After plastics are separated as indicated above, by the use of conveyors, shoots or storage bins ect. These plastic bottles or as described and stated in the defined process will then enter onto a section that will cut open plastic bottles as a preparation for the next step~~`ïn the process, and at th~e same time some of the remaining contents from the bottles would be recovered, and drained into a storage facility, for later separation as defined in the method of process. The action of cutting the bottles in half would be done by the use of a knife, sheer, or rotating blade or blades and would be in the line following the conveyer, shoots or storage bins. To become the next step in the process and part of the same process that Will form part of the method of process as a single machine or operation of the method of process. ~Iere and after known as classification 3.
After plastic bottles or containers in which are cut open, they are then inserted into a washing tray which in turn is put through a process that washes the liquid`, chemical `or solutlon from the plastic containers .This will be the 4th classification, in the method and process as described.(as defined in the washing classification ,later on). The containers are then ground up and reused to produce low specification plastic product. This would be achieved by the ~use of a grinder or granulating machine that by the use of rotating blades , chops up the plastic material, to a size that will correspond to the size needed for reuse, by the use of a screen that is part of the grinder or granulator. Some materials may then be (after the grinding process) put through an extruder pelletizer for to make good quality recycled plastic material for resale or reuse, in the manufacturing of new plastic products for resale.Known as classification 5.

WASHING OR 4th CLASSIFICATION DEFINED:

The washing process is part of the recycle and recovery process as described in the process description. The washer is of an industrial type or like dishwasher. So that the washing agents and liquids, chemicals, solutions or mixers are contained in a tank or reservoir so as to be reclaimed as part of this process. The liquids or chemicals, mixtures and solutions are then put through a separator that has designed capabilities of separating these liquids into their own distinct forms and or characteristics, chemical ,and wieght compositions so that they become reusable in their original form . (Known as method of recovery),or classification 6.

The process and method of recovery are as one, and that through the processes of the method, As indicated in calssifications 1 to 6, plastic products as well as liquids, chemicals, solutions and mixtures are reclaimed for reuse .

MET~OD OF RECOVERY DEFINED :CLASSIFICATION 6.
By the use of a machine called a separator, the method of recovery will take place. This is done by a series of discs that spin at a high rate of speed, and by the use of centrifugal force separate liquid weight variations and thicknesses into their own separate and distinct spouts, which in turn, respectively into their own separate and distinct containers in as pure as their original form as the machine's design can achieve. ie.(milk and cream separator or like machine).
Conclusion : This abstract defines a process of design and method, and shows the relationship between process and the method ie. (or methods) that make up the entire process as one.
In which this process for a patent on the complete processing and method is being applied for, as one distinct process. This also shows that the method of recovery in which,is the key element of the method and process and that this method of recovery of liquid, chemical, solution or mixture if used by it's self is as if it were being used as the process described, and with respect to the method of recovery to be protected under this patent even under single use of the method of recovery, as to protect the rights to the method of recovery, for the method of recovery lS the process.

Claims (2)

1 OF 2 Claims June 1,1993 J-2484-2-2455
2,094,849 Claim 1.
I claim that this is the first invention of a process that will take collected used plastic bottles containers bins or any other type of storage vessel that is made of or from plastics and to separate these collected plastic bottles containers bins or storage vessel , into their own and distinct material composition for the purpose of being washed chopped up melted and reused to produce other plastic produces , as a form of recycle. This differs from all others as they only perform one part of the process ,(eg.) collect and sell , collect and grind, grind and sell. Where as this process will take collected containers made of plastic wash then decontaminate then grind or chop them and melt and reuse the plastic material. and by so doing reduces waste makes materials reusable and keeps costs of recycling down due to manufacturing of new goods and sales of these new goods offset the costs for recycling.

Claim 2 At the washing stage of the process Known as classification 4 in the abstract , inwhich describes the use of an industrial type dishwasher retrieves other liquid chemicals solutions and mixtures that were remains of contents of theses bottles containers bins or storage vessel and to separate the contents of the bottle container bin or storage vessel from their contents as a form of decontaminating the plastic by washing away the contents of that bottle container bin or storage vessel . This differs from other processes of washing in that other processes of washing are selective in the type of bottle , material the bottle is made 'from,' and the contents that the bottle contained, and that the bottle could only contain a food product and that the washing is only a rinsing that is done by the consumer of the original product. Where as with this process all plastic bottles, containers, bins, storage vessels or vertually anything made of plastic can be washed and or decontaminated, it would be able to do any bottle or article of plastic regardless of it's contents or material composition.

PLASTIC AND CHEMICAL, LIQUID RECYCLE PROCESS

Claim 3. As defined in the method of recovery classification #6.of the abstract. Is done by a machine here named as a separater that separates the liquid chemicals mixtures or solutions that are retrieved from the washing process. This recovery is done by centrifugal force with and or with out the use of electrical or' sonic help . That these reclaimed and or recovered extracted chemicals liquids mixtures or solutions are then reclaimed into their original form or as close to their original form as the separators design capabilities will allow and there for will be considered recycled and reusable. This process differs from others in that other processes use tanks that consist of a series of levels and that the contents must sit and settle and that this will allow the different barometric weighted chemicals and or liquids to separate into themselves and are then drained off this procedure is slow and can take up a large space where as in the process using a separator takes less time can be done more affordablly and can be done at a higher volume.

Claim 4. The process of claim 1, 2, 3, inwhich all combined create an efficient start to finish (old To New) waste free recycle process.
