Abstract

An improvement in a feeding and orientation system for components having a stem and head such as rivets which utilizes a trough having at least one step formed therein and whereby, through vibration, the rivets are oriented in their correct longitudinal direction for delivery to an outlet.
The system is particularly suitable for components wherein the head diameter approximates the stem length.
