Abstract
ABSTRACT
Lifting device that allows to park two cars in one parking space. This device consists of a platform lifted up by means of screw gear systems and scissor structures, which are power driven by a electrical motor. The motor can be started by electricity, battery or manually. After the first can is positioned on the platform, it is lifted up by turning the motor on. When the platform is up, the second car can be driven underneath the platform. This device is provided with safety controls and sensor to prevent the platform from being lowered by accident while the second car is still underneath it.
The whole structure is bolted to the ground, preventing it from being moved or tipped while in use. This device is compact in size and in weight, minimizing the space require to park two cars or maximizing the space available for one car to park two cars instead.

Claims (4)
1.- A device for parking two cars in one parking space, comprising of a platform which is lifted up by means of screw gear systems and scissor sutrctures set into motion by a electrical motor driven by electricity, a battery or manually.
2.- A device as defined in claim 1, in which the motor set the screw gears into motion transmititng motion to the scissor structures in such a way that when the worm gear nuts are at the bottom of the gear path, the scissor structures pushes the gear path then the scissors structures folds down and therefore the platform is brought down.
3.- A device as defined in claim 1 and claim 2, in which when the platform with the car on is lifted up, the end of the platform where the fromt wheels of the car are positioned lowers to adjust for height. Minimizing in this way the total height of the unit with the car resting on top of the platform. The adjustment is done by the weight of the car on the platform and the counter action by the bolt position on the side of the platform. If an adjustment is required the bolt is turn up or down to adjust for height requirements.
Also, because of the end of the platform being adjusted to the horizontal plane the car on the platform is more stable and less likely to slide back.

4.- A device as defined in claim 1, claim 2 or claim 3, in which the end of the platform where the rear wheels of the cas are positioned are bent as curve platforms to adapt to the shape of the tires. This will prevent the car on top from sliding off the devise.
