Abstract

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE
The metal part (A) of the composite profile is clipped onto the plastic connecting part (B,B1) or pushed onto it lengthwise in such a manner that when a suitable load is applied to the anchoring elements (8, B2) the metal part (A) can bend elastically and thus move or slide in the transverse direction (16) and return to its initial position automatically when the load is removed without the anchorage being loosened and longitudinal sliding under load being prevented. The return of the metal part (A) to its initial position can be undertaken or assisted by flanges (17,18, 18a) on the metal part itself.

AMENDED CLAIMS
1. Connection system for the production of composite profiles, in particular for window frames door frames and the like, wherein the anchorage is furnished between the metal part (A) and the plastic connection part (B) by way of elastic anchoring elements, extending over the complete profile length, which will enable a mutual sliding of these parts in profile longitudinal direction under a certain loading in the same direction as well as a limited sliding or shifting in cross direction (16) of the same profile parts, upon occurrence of a certain loading in this direction, wherein, in case of a decreasing load in a direction cross to the profile longitudinal extension there is performed an elastic restoring in two directions cross to the profile longitudinal extension of the shifted profile part into its starting position parallel to the remaining profile parts (B, C), and wherein this elastic restoring is performed based on the elasticity of the anchoring elements themselves (8, B2 in Figs. 1 - 3; 10, 11, 14) and/or by specially furnished elastic restoring flanges (17, 18, 18a in Figs. 4 - 8, 9 ) or by soft elastic projections (D) furnished at spacer flanges (21) of the connection part (B1 in Fig. 12) which projections (D) are supported at the metal part (A).
2. Connection system for the production of composite profiles according to claim 1, wherein the anchorage is secured by the geometric disposition of the anchoring projection (6) and of a support rib (2) such that the distance in cross direction relative to the longitudinal direction of the profile part (A) of those staggered disposed projections (2, 6) is slightly larger as compared to the thickness of the anchoring flange (8) and is smaller as compared to the thickness of the flange and including insertion projection (11).
3. Connection system for the production of composite profiles according to claim 1, wherein the anchorage is secured by a limiting of the sliding motion in cross direction (16), which anchorage is furnished with at least a rigid spacer flange (18a) or with a support flange (1), protruding from a metal part (A) which protrudes into a correspondingly wider guide groove (19) at the plastic connection part (B) (in Figs. 10, 14), wherein the face at the bottom of the groove represents the sliding face (4).
4. Connection system for the production of composite profiles according to claim 1, wherein the anchorage is secured by projections (22) which are formed in particular extruded on at the anchoring elements (B2 in Figs. 13, 14), which projections are supported elastically at a planar face at a metal part (A) in assembled position of the composite profile parts such that a contact pressure is achieved at the mutual suspension faces of the suspension ends of (6, 14) and that a displacement of the suspension ends of the anchoring elements in relation to the metal part is hindered.
5. Connection system for production of composite profiles according to claim 1, wherein the soft-elastic projections (D) are molded on as anchoring elements at rigid spacer flanges of a plastic connection part (B1 in Fig. 12), which are propped and braced at the metal part (A) in joined position of the parts of the composite profile such that, in case of a loading in cross direction (16), one of the projection (D) is elastically compressed, while the second projection (D) can release itself tension at the opposite side, whereby a cross shifting occurs with the elastic restoring effect of the metal part (A) with reference to the remaining parts of the composite profile.
6. Connection system for the production of composite profiles according to claim 1, wherein the restoring flange (17, 18, 18a) can be molded on at the metal part (A), (Figs 7 and 8 ), at the plastic connection part (B, B1) (Figs. 4 - 6), or can be inserted into one of these parts (Fig. 9).
