Abstract

A supply valve (36) and an arrangement for supplying, testing and draining a fire suppression water sprinkler system in-cludes a supply valve (36) which has a valve member (84) with at least first (140), second (144) and third (146) ports. The selective rotation of the valve member (36) varies communication between the inlet (66) of the valve and one or more outlets (64, 68) for the valve. A sensor (38) for detecting a flow of water through the supply valve is provided within valve member (36) and has a mem-ber (120) which is generally aligned with a turning axis of the valet member.
The flow sensor arrangement may be provided in a valve of general utility.
