Abstract

A reel for a cable has an annular hub with side walls extending radially to opposite sides of the hub. An enclosed compartment is provided within the hub by the side walls to accomodate fixtures attached to the cable. An aperture is provided in the hub to allow the cable to pass into the compartment and a portion of one of the end walls is removable to allow the fixtures and cable to be removed.
