LIQUID PAI~TING INSTRUMENT
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention The present invention relates to liquid painting instrumen-ts including a cosmetic instrument for painting a li~uid cosmetic, a writing instrument for painting a wri-ting ink, and the like.
Prior Art As a liquid painting instrument, such one has been heretofore known that comprises a pipe-like penpoint core member of cross-sectionally circular form and a penpoint cover member made of an elastic porous material put on the outer periphery of the core member.
The above-mentioned prior art painting instrument involves such defects that is not proper to paint both a plane and a line and it is difficult for the discharged li~uid to spread so far as such rearward portion of the penpoint cover member that~is~remote from the front end outlet of the penpolnt core member. ~ ~
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is aimed at providing such a liquld~painting instrument that is capable by properly painting both 3 plane and a line and that allows the discharged liquid :
~ ~to easily spread so far a~s such rearward portion of the ;~ penpoint cover memb~er that is remote from the Eront end outlet of~the penpoint core~member.
For the purpose o~ achieving the above-mentioned aim, ~the~p~esent invention~is~constructed comprising a penpoint core member having a lower end pipe portion and provided on both side outer faces of tile pipe portion with a pair of vane portions projecting therefrorn and a penpoint cover member made of an elastic porous material and put on the outer perlphery of the penpoint core member.
BRI~F DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
In the drawings il]ustrating an embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 1 is a vertical section oE a main por-tion;
Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A
in Fig. 1 ; and Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the penpoint core member.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION AND PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Referring now to the accompanying drawings, the present invention will be described more detail with respect to a preferred embodiment~.
Firstly, the penpoint core member 3 is made oP a plastic~material and has on lower end thereof the pipe portion 1. On both side faces of the pipe portion 1 are axially provided the flat vane portions 2 projecting thereErom.
Further, the penpoint core member 3 integrally has an engaging tube portion 6 above the pipe portion 1, a connecting tube portion 8 further above the engag.ing tube portion ~ through a collar portion 7, and an engaging projection 9 Eormed on the outer face of the engaging tube portion 6 by undercutting. The penpoint core member 3 is fixed in -the lower endi opening of a main sha~t 10, with the connecting tube portion 8 pressed :

-there is formed the space 5 between the outer face of the pipe portion 1 and the inner face of the penpoint cover member 4, ancl, with the painting strument inverted, the ink flows through the space S to the rear of the pipe portion 1 to be properly impregnated not only into the front end portion of the penpoint cover member 4 but also into the whole.
In operation, when effecting a line painting, such portions of the penpoint cover member t4) as corresponding to both side edges of the vane portions (2) of the penpoint core member (3) can be conveniently used. While, when effecting a plane painting, such portions as vertical to those for the above ling painting can be conveniently used.
In a state where the penpoint cover member 4 in put on the outer peripheral portlon of the peopoint core member 3, with the vane portions 2 projecting from the penpoint core member 3, a space S is provided be-tween the outer face of the pipe portion 1 and the inner face of the penpoint cover member 4, and the liguid can easily flow rearward through said space Constructed as described above, the present invention provldes not only such a very improved convenience that both ~the;llne painting and the plane painting can be properly efEected, but also ~uah advantage that the li~uid can spread over the whole of the penpoint cover member without being o~ne-sided to~the front end thereof to allow`a good painting without producing any blurs.
