Abstract
PROTECTIVE REMOVABLE COVER FILM FOR COMPACT DISCS .
A B S T R A C T
An unconstrained protective removable cover film for the music compact disc, and also for the cinematographical compact disc. This tran-sparent cover film can be placed and adjusted on the compact disc. It pro-tects the compact disc's micro-bytes information from scratches, dust, dirt and fingerprints without affecting the quality of sound and/or imagery.
After extensive use of the " protective removable cover film " it can be removed and replaced at the user's will and needs. As obvious, the pro-tective removable cover film improves the durability and longevity contained on a compact disc.

Description
3~ /2 This invention relates to the music compact discs and to the cinematographic compact discs.
This invention ( product ) is the idea of placing unto the com-pact disc a thin film that protects the compact disc's micro-bytes of in-formation from scratches, dust, dirt, fingerprints and from the risks Or manipulation, therefore increasing its longevity ( due to a better dur-ability ). As well, after living through its usefulness, the cover film can easily be removed and replaced with a new one. All this improvement in the durability of the compact disc and in the protection of the micro-bytes of information is achieved without there being a deterioration of the sound and/or imagery qualities.
It is common knowledge that the compact disc's micro-bytes of information is easily damaged by scratches, dust, dirt, fingerprints and by the risk of manipulation. These possible damages can be of a permanent nature, negatively affecting the quality of the image in a cinematographic compact disc.
The invention as claimed is intended to eliminate these draw-backs. It solves the problem of protecting the micro-bytes of information contained in the compact disc, as it acts as a protective wall that keeps scratches, dust, dirt and fingerprints away from the micro-bytes . Further-mo~e, the removable and replaceable features Or this invention ensures that the cover film that is placed on a compact disc, could be removed and replaced if it~is damaged;or has deteriorated after being used extensively.
AIso, the~quallty~bf sound and lmagery will not be affected by the protective film. Thus, in short,~ lt protec~ts the compact disc against~damages of its micro-bytes of information without affecting the quality of sound and im-' i agery, and it increlses its durability and longevity.

The cover film is of a transparent vinyle of which one side is low-static m and adhesive. The adhesive side of the cover film is placed onto the side of the compact disc that conta_ns the micro-bytes of inÇormation. Claims
The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows ;
" The use of a thin adhesive vinyle film that not only protects the compact disc's micro-bytes of information, but also, because of its removability feature, increases the dur-ability and longevity of the compact disc without affecting the level of sound and or imagery. "
" The use of a thin adhesive vinyle film that not only protects the compact disc's micro-bytes of information, but also, because of its removability feature, increases the dur-ability and longevity of the compact disc without affecting the level of sound and or imagery. "
