Abstract

ABSTRACT

In the Compost Container you have a simple containment system, easily assembled, and disassembled. These are it's most unique features.
The 1/8" polyethelene wrap is held together by simple clamps and a plastic rod and stake fascilitate the easy filling and emptying of the container.
The 3cm X 200cm X100cm polyethelene sheet has 6cm holes to encourage aerobic decomposition of organic material.
The lid is also designed to this end. The container is also designed to accomodate poly garbage bags, for easy filling. It can also be used to stack and store compost.
Utilizing a polyethelene liner (poly-snow fence). This device can be easily stored. Hanging flat against a wall, or rolled up into a small cylinder.

Description

SPECIFICATION
I
This invention relstes to the~easy handling of surplus.
Organic bio-degradable vegetable matter around the home. To acheive aerobic decomposition of such vegetable matter that should be placed inside.
Unlike other systems, this device allows the owner to remove and reassemble the device. Remove undigested material from the top, replacing it in the container for further decomposition.
In previous systems you generally find a simple box shap~d container with a lid and a small acess door at the bottom. They are, generally speaking, of small capacity.
Take some time to assemble and are a permanant fixture. ~ -2G~25 I have found that these disadvantages have been over-come, by the simple wrap around system. Capacity is only limited by the size of the wrap at present. Eight cubic feet, by simply removing the 1 cm plastic rod and sta'ke. The devlce comes apart exposing the material for easy handling ;--and further processing.

Shows the wrap ready to assemble. This is acheived by inserting the self-locking claims into the 1 cm X 3 cm large ~oles provided.

Then the simple procedure of inserting the 1 cm plastic rod and stake. Binds the container together.
FIGURE 3 ;~
Here is the container filled with material.

The material is exposed ready for use or futher processing.

Shows undigested material returned for futher de-composition.

Decomposed material is now ready for futher processing or use.
