Abstract
ABSTRACT
Many motors and mechanical devices are powered by compressed air but are stationary due to the dependance to the air compressor. Most other motor vehicles and mechanical devices are dependant on internal combustion type motors which cause a major pollution problem as do electrically powered vehicles and the batteries of such have a long recharging time.
I have found that the use of a thermal tank of cryogenic liquid which flows to a vaporizer then expands greatly in volume giving us an increased volume of energy. The use of this process can be used to power mechanical devices such as motor vehicles. It is pollution free and returns the gas (air) back to the atmosphere.

SPE~IFICATION
This invention relates to the use of cryogenic liquid as a form of portable energy to power a motor, mechanical device such as a motor vehicle.
Motors are now powered by compressed air but are dependent upon electrically powered compressors or combustion type motors to give the power t.o the air compressor. This does not allow the motor to be very portable and is a source of pollution. An independent tank of compressed air has a short life span due to its size and volume.
Using a battery as a source of power is said to cause mercury pollution. The life span is very limited and takes considerable time to re-charge.
I have found that by using a portable thermal tank of cryogenic liquid and once the liquid is vaporized to a contained gaseous state, which greatly expands in volume, it will give portable energy to run a mechanical device such as a motor to operate a vehicle. Because we do not use an internal combustion type motor there is no pollution.
This energ~ can turn a turbine or other type of motor to run a mechanical device such as a vehicle.
In the drawings which illustrates embodiments of the invention:
- Figure 1) is a cryogenic thermal tank Figure 2) is a building coil which builds up pressure in the thermal tank Figure 3) is a vaporizer Figure 4) is a motor or mechanical device The cr~ogenic air is put into a thermal tank (1) in a liquid state then the cryogenic li~uid flows into a building coil (2) under a regulated pressure creating a positive pressure in the thermal tank. The cryogenic liquid is drawn from the thermal tank to the vaporizer (3) at a lower pressure than the building coil pressure. It is transformed in the vaporizer to a gaseous state and expanding in volume. It then goes through a throttling control valve to the motor (~) giving us the required power needed to run the motor device.
Then the gas is exhausted back to the atmosphere.
The use of cryogenic liquid can be used to power large motors in trains, trucks etc. The equipment needed in the above process can be sized to the required need and use.
