Abstract

The design is the features of pattern and ornament of the portions of the chair back as shown in solid lines in the drawings. The portions shown in stippled lines do not form part of the design. A significant feature of the design is the gradually transitioning pattern from a dark vertical center stripe to light side edges. The tone of the vertical fibres gradually transitions from the center to the outer edges with more dark fibres closer to the center, more light fibres closer to the edges and a more even distribution of light and dark fibres between the edges and the center as shown in Figure 2. Drawings of the design are included. FIG. 1 is a front view of a chair back showing the design; FIG. 2 is an enlarged fragmentary view of a portion of the chair back of FIG. 1; and FIG. 3 is a rear view of the chair back of FIG. 1.
